New 19 fresh cases of cholera have been recorded at Mubi North and Mubi South local government areas of Adamawa State.
This was made known on Monday by the Ministry of Health of the state.
According to the Information Officer of the ministry, Mr Mohammed Abubakar, 16 of the new cases were recorded in Mubi North while three were reported in Mubi South.

He disclosed that a total of 1,227 cases were recorded within the past one month with 20 deaths while 19 patients were still on admission at the treatment centre in Mubi General Hospital as at June 10 Sunday.
Giving additional details, Abubakar said Hong local government had five cases without death, Maiha local government had three cases without death, Mubi North had 526 cases with 11 deaths, while Mubi South had 693 cases with nine deaths.
