Incumbent governor of Edo State and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Godwin Obaseki at 11.50a.m cast his vote in the ongoing Edo gubernatorial election.
Obaseki arrived his polling unit19, ward 04, Oredo local government area of the state at about 9.27a.m and stayed on the queue awaiting his turn.

At 11.50a.m, his turn came and he cast his vote.
Obaseki who won the election in 2016 under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, is seeking re-election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
