A Nigerian- American business development expert, Ms Nancy Aragbaye, has urged Nigerian women to register to participate in her LeadHership Expo to benefit from the event’s 40 million empowerment grant.

Aragbaye, Founder of Strategic Solutions, a U.S. based business development firm and organiser of the expo, said participants at the conference would be provided with free resources, training and education, amounting to 40 million to help grow their businesses.

This is contained in a statement by the LeadHership Program Manager, Ms Abimbola Akinola in Lagos on Monday.

Aragbaye said the expo would empower young Nigerian women to help boost the nation’s economy and better their lives.

She said the expo; a leadership conference is aimed at providing resources, training and education to catapult women between the ages of 18-40 into leadership roles in their career, businesses and entrepreneurial endeavors.

“Far too often, the power of a woman is overlooked. We are not seen as change agents who are capable of creating solutions that drive change.

“This conference is strategically positioned to change that narrative and help women use their voices and discover their creative genius.

”I know the strength we, as women possess, and the impact Strategic Solutions has made in the community is a reflection of what happens when you allow women to lead.”

According to her, attendance is 100% free and qualified businesses will be given grants for their businesses.

She noted that Strategic Solutions through the expo, planned to empower over 2,000 Nigerian residents via entrepreneurial seed grants, non-profit grants, community development and educational support.

“This year, our work will directly impact women, girls, children and businesses in Ondo, Ekiti and Lagos State for this maiden edition.

“Smart and ambitious women across Nigeria are invited to virtually participate in the premiere edition of the LeadHership expo billed for Oct. 18, 2021.”

Leveraging the outstanding lineup of growth resources and opportunities for both female business owners and corporate entrepreneurs, Aragbaye said the expo, a global movement for change, would ensure visibility and social impact for participants.

“Attendance is free and qualified businesses will be given grants for their businesses.

“This is for all women between the ages of 18 and 40.

“All that is required is to be smart, ambitious, a woman both in the corporate and business world, a female undergraduate in her semi-final or final year and a woman just ready to make social impact through business ownership.

“However, a pre-registration is required. Intending participants can visit www.strategic-solutions.global/leadhership-expo to register and attend,” she said.

Aragbaye, a first generation Nigerian-American, had a vision in 2020 to return home to empower the women in her home country, Nigeria, to help find solutions to support women. (NAN)
