Oluseun Anikulapo Kuti, who is also commonly known as Seun Kuti, Fela’s youngest son, has been nominated for a Grammy award in the ‘Best World Music’ category.

Recently, Fela’s music has been gaining even more attention by music stars abroad with Diddy constantly playing it in videos he posts on social media.

Beyoncé also paid a tribute to him at Coachella. Even erratic Kanye West said recently ‘he had the spirit of Fela’. A comment that Seun himself greatly disapproved of.

The Grammy awards will hold on February 10, 2019.
