Angry protesters on Saturday stormed the office of the Department of State Services, DSS, Abuja, over the continued detention of Omoyele Sowore, convener of #RevolutionNow.
The protesters were led by Rights Activist, Deji Adeyanju.
According to a tweet on his personal handle, the DSS refused to release Sowore to his lawyers claiming that there bosses were not around.
“They have refused to release Sowore to me or his lawyer here. All their Ogas claim they are not at work,” he said.
Recall that a Federal High Court in Abuja had in October granted bail to Sowore and his Co defendant Olawore Bakare.
However, when they could not meet the stringent conditions of the bail, the court varied the conditions.

Having perfected the conditions, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu issued an order for their release which had been duly served to the DSS.
Though the DSS on Friday acknowledged receipt of the order, it claimed that nobody had come to take custody of Sowore.
Thanking those who came out to be part of the protest, Adeyanju vowed that they will return on Tuesday if the Department failed to release Sowore before then.
“Thank you everyone that came out for Sowore today. We can do better on Tuesday. We must keep increasing in number,” he tweeted .
Sowore and Bakare are standing trial for treasonable felony .
