It was also gathered that the Permanent Voters Cards of some people belonging to the opposition party have been snatched.

The attack of the opposition in Orolu, it was gathered, was because of the large support enjoyed by the opposition party in the area.

The re-run came about following alleged electoral malpractices in the Saturday governorship election in the state.

The contest is between the leading candidates in the Saturday election.

While Ademola Adeleke is for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Gboyega Oyetola is representing the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The re-run is being held in seven polling units in four local government areas of Osogbo, Orolu, Ife North and Ife South.
