Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has called on the people of the state to conduct themselves in a peaceful and orderly manner as they go to the polls today to elect the next governor who will run the affairs of state for the next four years.
Akeredolu made the call in a statement signed by the Director-General of his campaign council, Mr. Victor Olabimtan, in Akure on Friday.

He appealed to the people to be responsible in their conduct to prove those who had predicted that the election would be marred by violence wrong.
The governor who is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said he had done his best for the people and had left the rest to God and the people of the state to decide.
He thanked the people of Ondo for their support in the past four years.
