A graduate of Law from Babcock University emerged the best graduating student among the over 5, 000 who recently graduated from the law School.
Mr. Abiru Mayowa Mubashir, was the best among 147 students who passed the Bar Examination with First Class.
He graduated from Babcock with a 2:1.
Nigeria’s premier university, the University of Ibadan, UI, however, produced the highest number of Graduands with First Class.
Out of 147, it produced 26.
Coming a distant second was Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, which produced 13 first class students.
Babcock University, though having the best graduating student produced 10 First Class graduands with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN.
Recall that over 5,000 new lawyers were recently called to Bar having passed the August 2019 Bar exams.
Graduates from 35 universities across the country took the Bar exams.
