The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday reported 103 additional cases of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria.

The NCDC announced the new infections, reported from 12 states and the FCT on its website late Thursday night.

Lagos reported the highest number of new cases according to the update.

Also, for the fifth day running, the agency reported no fatalities.

With the fresh infections, however, the health agency said the number of infections across the country has risen to 59,841 while the number of discharges also rose to 51,551 with the discharge of 148 persons on the day in review.

The 103 new cases are as follows- Lagos (39), Rivers (21), FCT (19), Oyo (6) Kaduna (4), Bauchi (3), Ogun (3), Imo (2), Kano (2), Benue (1), Edo (1), Nasarawa (1) and Plateau (1)
