Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has picked out six of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s players whom he believes are under-performing.

Recall that Manchester United on Sunday, April 21, suffered a 4-0 defeat in the hands of Everton. This comes after being kicked out of Champions League by Barcelona.

Neville didn’t hold back in his criticism of the United players he believes haven’t been pulling their weight in recent times.

United have lost six of their last eight games and have now conceded more goals (49) than they’ve ever let in during a Premier League season with their hopes of finishing in the top four in serious jeopardy.

Speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, the former United star had this to say about the six players, whom he says can do better.

“Alexis Sanchez; I don’t know what’s happened to him.

“Marcus Rashford; I went to both Barcelona games. Marcus looks off it at the moment. Whether he’s carrying an injury. Something’s not right, or the season has caught up with him.

“Romelu Lukaku; He doesn’t turn up in the big games. That’s been levelled at him for a number of years now.

“Paul Pogba; looks like he’s back to the Paul Pogba that was playing under Jose Mourinho, even though he’s been outstanding for the past three months.

“Anthony Martial; he’s just come back from injury, but he looks like he’s back in that ambling mood once again.

“De Gea; looks nothing like… He looks distracted.”

The latest comments are coming on the heals of an impassioned rant by the former Captain about United’s structure and the club’s failure to recover from Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure after winning the league in 2013.
