Emeka Ihedioha has been sworn in as the 6th Executive Governor of Imo state.
He was sworn in before of a mammoth crowd at the Dan Anyiam stadium, Owerri, by the Chief Judge of the state, Paschal Nnadi.

Ihedioha,was sworn in at 11:01am, four minutes after his Deputy, Gerald Irona, took his oath of office.
Ihedioha, represented the Aboh Mbaise/ Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the Federal House of Representatives and served as Deputy Speaker.
