Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has revealed that the fight he had with colleague, Uche Maduagwu, was staged.
The Next Edition reported that Jim Iyke “beat up” Uche Maduagwu back in 2021 for querying his source of income.
In a chat with Chude Jideonwo on his show, WithChude, Jim Iyke revealed the fight was well scripted and Maduagwu was paid very well for it.
He said, “That would show you that, that world is so real. There is nothing that exists in that world. I called the man, we had an understanding, paid very well for it, wrote the script, called Moses in and we shot it.”

The stunt was for his movie ‘Bad Comments,’ which he had already spent twenty-five million naira on publicity with little results.
Uche Maduagwu took to his Instagram page on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, to reveal how much he was paid for the stunt.
“He paid me N3.6m to promote “Bad Comments” movie and added extra N1.2M after it went viral,” he wrote.
According to him, he is not just the most talked-about movie star in Africa but the biggest brand influencer.
