Mr. Oguwike Nwachukwu, a renowned journalist has been appointed Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma.
Mr. Nwachukwu, a former Police reporter with Champion Newspapers Ltd was until his appointment the Executive Editor of TheNiche, an online news platform.

Other appointments made by Uzodinma who was sworn in as governor on Wednesday include: Cosmas Iwu, Secretary to the Government of Imo State; COC Akolisa, Attorney General & Commissioner of Justice and Mr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, Chief of Staff.
The appointments are with immediate effect.
Mr. Uzodinma was on Tuesday declared the rightful winner of the 2019 governorship election in Imo by the Supreme Court.
