Gov Abubakar confirms Umar Muhammed Umar as new Emir of Katagum

Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State has confirmed the appointment of Alhaji Umar Muhammad Kabir Umar II as the 12th Emir of Katagum.

According to a statement by the Special Assistant, Communication, to the Governor, Shamsuddeen Lukman Abubakar, the confirmation by the government followed the recommendation of the Katagum Emirate Kingmakers.
