Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha is standing firm by conviction that the reality tv show did not help her in life.

Tacha earlier stated on Thursday, June 3, 2021, that the 2019 Big Brother Naija ‘Pepperdem’ reality tv show did not help her as people think.

This statement made social media users to drag her with a lot of people tagging her as ungrateful.

In an audio posted on her Twitter page on Friday, June 4, 2021, the entrepreneur explained why she made that statement, revealing she almost died due to depression caused by people’s hateful comments after she was disqualified from the show for fighting a fellow housemate.

She said she would rather thank her chi and God because she had nothing to work with back then.

“2019 was the lowest part of my life. I grew above all hate. I literally made me, if I have to give exclusive credit, I would give exclusive credit to my chi, I would give exclusive credit to God cos I literally had nothing to work with,” part of her voice note said.

She said people expect her to be licking ass in 2021 to suit what they think she should do when she did not do that in 2019.

“I call the shots here, I pay the bills,” she said.
