COVID-19: NCDC Reports 170 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 170 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 2558.

Also, the total number of deaths has risen to 87.

According to the NCDC, Lagos, the epicentre of the disease has 39 of the new cases bringing its total number of COVID-19 cases to 1,107.

Kano and Ogun have 29 and 24 new cases respectively.

The NCDC said: “170 new cases of #COVID19;
39-Lagos , 29-Kano, 24-Ogun, 18-Bauchi, 15-Kaduna, 12-FCT, 12-Sokoto, 8-Katsina, 7-Borno, 3-Nasarawa, 2-Adamawa and 1-Oyo.

2558 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria
Discharged: 400
Deaths: 87.”

A breakdown of cases by state and other details is presented in the table below.
