COVID-19: FRSC Intercepts Two Overloaded Vehicles From Kano

The Niger state Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has intercepted two overloaded Sharon Vehicles coming into Minna from Kano state.

The vehicles were coming into the state on Tuesday being one of the window days.

The FRSC immediately notified and invited the Chairman Task Force on COVID-19, Ahmed Matane, including Rapid Response Team at Emergency Response Centre( EOC) Minna for further action.

The Nation reports that Four people including the drivers, two women, and a young boy were inside the intercepted vehicles.

The drivers and passengers were all taken to the Quarantine centre in Minna as a directive by the State Chairman of COVID-19 Task-Force for questioning and testing.

The vehicles were intercepted at about along the Minna – Suleja road and are currently held at the FRSC Office in Minna.
