Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 195 new cases of Coronavirus, its highest figures since the index case was announced in February.
From the numbers released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos, the epicentre of the disease, recorded 80 new cases followed by Kano with 38 cases.
Ogun and Taraba states tied with 15 cases each while Borno recorded 11 cases.
The new cases were recorded across 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory which recorded one case.
Meanwhile, Nigeria now has 1,532 cases of #COVID19 with 44 deaths and 255 discharges.
