COVID-19: Nigeria Records 64 New Cases

Nigeria has recorded another 64 new cases of #COVID19.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the new cases are reported in five states.

Lagos, the epicentre of the disease accounts for 34 of the new cases followed by FCT with 15 and Borno 11. Taraba and Gombe both have 2 cases each.

The total number of cases now stands at 1337.

The NCDC said: “64 new cases of #COVID19 reported;
34-Lagos
15-FCT
11-Borno
2-Taraba
2-Gombe

“As at 11:20pm 27th April- 1337 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Discharged: 255
Deaths: 40

“One case previously reported as a Lagos State case, is now reported as an FCT case.

“The total number of confirmed cases in Lagos is now at 764 and 157 in FCT.”
