Property worth over N3 billion linked to former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, have been finally forfeited.
The forfeiture order was issued by a Federal High Court judge in Lagos, Abdulaziz Anka, on Wednesday.
The order was sequel to a demand to that effect by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The anti-graft commission said the sum of $21,982,224 paid by the former minister for the property was a proceed of corruption.
EFCC said no fewer than 56 houses were traced to the former minister.
