President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolence over the death of the Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Umar Buba Jibrin, who passed on Friday morning.

He sent his sympathy to the leadership and members of the House of Representatives in particular and the National Assembly in general.

President Buhari also extended his condolences to the people of Kogi State whom the late lawmaker represented “creditably for many years at both the state and national legislatures.”

The president prayed that Allah would comfort all who mourned the late Jibrin and grant his soul eternal rest.

Jibrin died at the age of 58 after a protracted illness.

Jibrin was at a time the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly.
