The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has raised its pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol in by 14.8 per cent to N1,030 per litre from N897.
The latest price increase, which took effect from Wednesday, makes it the second time the petrol price has been hiked in the past month.

The Next Edition reports that the company had in September increased pump price from N615 per litre to N897.

The increase was noticed early Wednesday in Lagos where most filling stations did not dispense their products until the price increase announcement.
