Popular TV show, Big Brother Naija kicked off from South Africa, Sunday, at exactly 7pm with the theme: “ Double Wahala ,” meaning double trouble.
The show which debuted in March 5, 2006 with the name, Big Brother Nigeria, is a reality show based on Big Brother TV series where contestantslive in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize.
The first show was broadcast on DSTV Channel 37.
However, the second edition came with the name of the show changed to BB Naija, apparently to reflect the popular name young Nigerians identify their country.
It was the winner of the first edition of the show, Obinna Obi-Uchendu, who hosted the second edition of the show which was won by Efe Ejeba.

The newly launched show is also hosted by Mr. Ebuka.
Currently, four housemates have just been admitted into the house and their names are Mina, Vandora, Teddy A and K. Brunie
Before the show began, Mr. Ebuka took the audience in a guided tour of the house which has been exquisitely furnished and prepared for the show which is expected to last 83 days.
The head of house is assigned a separate room in the house and for the first time, Big Brother has kept a phone in the house.
