Boko Haram: 8 suspected kidnappers of Chibok girls arrested

Eight members of the Boko Haram terrorists groups, suspected to have been involved in the kidnapping of 276 students of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, have been arrested.

The girls were kidnapped on April 14, 2014.

However, 112 of the girls have regained their freedom after several months in the captivity of the terrorists.

The terrorists who were paraded on Wednesday were arrested by operatives of the Inspector General’s Intelligence Response Team (IGP’s IRT) in Borno, Adamawa and other adjoining communities.

The terrorists were said to have also engaged in other attacks including suicide bombing in the North East.
