Speaking to the Next Edition in Makurdi on Monday, ANA Chairman in the State, Dr. Charles Iornumbe announced that the caretaker committee was contituted after it was ratified during the Association’s congress held in Makurdi.

He said what ANA Benue has done was in line with the constitutional provision of the Association and acceptable democratic norms that enhance friendship and development among a people.

The outgoing Chairman also stated that it was the desire of the Exco to set precedent whereby subsequent ANA leaders in the state would continue to leverage on to bring members on board without crisis.

He said the seven members were selected in consultation with ANA stakeholders in the state due to their demonstrable passion, love and commitment to the literary body over the past years and expressed hope that they would carry on with the good works the Association was doing.

Meanwhile, a former General Secretary of ANA Nassarawa state chapter, Mr. Benjamin Torlafia said it was amazing to see the current Executive members of ANA in Benue in a hurry to leave office unlike other chapters where its Officials were forced to vacate, saying the initiative by the chapter was worthy of emulation.
