2019: Atiku visits Obasanjo in Abeokuta

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Obasanjo was Atiku’s former boss.

However, Obasanjo has expressed his opposition to the presidential ambition of Atiku.

On the visit with him were the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, and former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

Daniel is the campaign director of Atiku.

It would be recalled that Obasanjo had said recently that God would not forgive him if he supported Atiku’s presidential ambition.

Atiku’s visit came two days after the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, visited Obasanjo to form a common front ahead of the 2019 election and the unity of Nigeria
