Japan which is also in Group H has also qualified for the next stage having been favoured on “fair play” even though it has the same points with Senegal.

Just like Japan, Senegal won once, tied once, and lost once.

Japan was considered for the next stage because unlike Senegal which has a record of five yellow cards, it (Japan) has only three.
