The decomposing body of a man identified as Golden Akwaran declared missing by the Delta state Police Command Thursday, was on Sunday evening found behind a new generation church (name withheld) along Agbor Expressway in Ika South Local government area of the state
Chairman of the Vigilante group, (Agbor Gha- Ihama Security) Mr. Monday Kiyem who confirmed this to our Correspondent in Asaba on Tuesday, said “we were called by some people on Sunday evening that behind a church (name withheld), there was offensive odour emitting out, we moved into the bush and later found the body of the missing man, and we invited the police to the scene since he was already decomposing.”
Kiyem observed that the victim, 32 years old, was gruesomely murdered with bricks used on his head, adding that it was not clear if his adductors were kidnappers or not.

He enjoined citizens to be security conscious and not to fall prey to the antics of evil men who have created unrest in the society.
Delta state Police Command had through its Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the missing man in Agbor town, and assured that the Police would ensure that he was found.
It was gathered that the late College Of Education staff, left home on that fateful Thursday with a notice of going to market along College/ Uromi Junction road, Agbor, to buy meat.
According to reports, that was the last time he was seen.
