Fashion Entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani, has unfollowed and blocked Miss Nina Chinonso Onyenobi, a former Big Brother Naija Double Wahala housemate, on social media platforms.

Ms Lawani in a recent interview with Hero Daniel of Linda Ikeji TV explained why she blocked her protege on Instagram, saying her action was as a result of inappropriate behaviour exhibited by Nina who made headlines when she fell in love with a fellow housemate during her participation in the Big Brother Naija show.

She said “Yes, it is true I unfollowed her and even blocked her because I felt she needs to be smart. She needs to learn a lesson because that way, before she makes any move she will think about it very well. I have made my own mistakes, who am I to tell her not to make hers. However, there are ways of doing things if you want the world to accept a particular person without making yourself look like a fool or stupid.”

Last weekend, Nina took to her Instagram to post a video of herself and her former co-contestant and love interest, Miracle Igbokwe, winner of Big Brother Naija Double Wahala 2018 Edition, stating that she had forgiven him and advised her fans to do same.

Her action was meant to defuse tension between her fans and those of Miracle who were agitated due to what they considered unfair treatment meted out to Nina by Miracle.

The crux of the matter was that some months back, Miracle took to his Instagram page to friendzone Nina in a post that suggested that they were mere friends and not dating.

This got a lot of Nina’s fans angry including Toyin Lawani who has been Nina’s benefactor. In response to that post on social media,Toyin called out Miracle for leading Nina on and abandoning her halfway.

However, things took a different turn when Nina and Miracle met in Ghana and posted the video of themselves together. It was no surprise when Toyin blocked Nina off her Instagram page to show her disapproval of Nina’s on-again-off-again relationship with Miracle.
