The senator representing Taraba North, Abubakar Danladi, has been sacked by the Supreme Court from the Senate.
In the same vein, a member of the House of Representatives, Herman Hembe, representing Vandikwa/ Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue, has also been shown the way out by the same court.
The court, in its ruling, ordered Danladi to refund all salaries and allowances he had collected in the Senate within 90 days.
In its ruling on Hembe’s case on Friday, the court declared that Hembe did not win the All Progressives Congress party ticket that saw him emerge as a legislator.
It therefore declared Dorothy Mato the winner of the APC ticket.
The court thereof ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue Mato a certificate of return as member of the House of Representatives for area in question.
