Dennis Olishe, a student leader and Public Relations Officer, Niger Delta Students Council, University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, has said the provision of good roads on campuses has confirmed the Federal Government’s true commitment to the welfare of the student population in the country.

Olishe, in a statement, expressed profound gratitude to the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, for the commitment to work he had been exhibiting on his job, saying, “President Muhammadu Buhari is a blessed man for having Fashola on board.”

He stated that the entire student body across the nation had been convinced that the Buhari administration had factored in the students as an integral part of the country’s populace, stating that the students also had the duty to reciprocate the good gesture by being good citizens.

Olishe also enjoined his colleagues across the nation and beyond to be good ambassadors of the country, stressing the need for them to study hard and be of good behaviour to prepare for taking the country’s leadership and move it further forward.

“What is more exciting about the whole issue is that, with what we are witnessing on our various campuses across the country, Fashola appears well prepared to spread good road network to all available spaces in the country.

“Against this backdrop, this Federal administration deserves our commendation, our support and encouragement to keep up the good work it has been doing for the welfare of the students on campuses as well as for the generality of the people,” Olishe advised,

He, therefore, urged Fashola not to relent in being focused and putting his eyes on the ball firmly, saying, the entire student body, just like the whole Nigerian populace, were appreciative of the minister’s efforts in adding value to the Buhari administration.
