The Shi’ite members in Nigeria Monday in Abuja protested the killing of Qassem Soleimani, an Iranian General, in an airstrike by the United States of America.
Soleimani, a commander of its Quds Force, was killed on Friday in US airstrike ordered by President Donald Trump at the airport in Baghdad.
The Shiites who came out in large numbers also seized the opportunity to demand the release of their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, who are currently being detained in Nigeria.
