Security Personnel Arrest Two APC Members with 43 PVCs In Benue

The security agencies have arrested two members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, with 43 Permanent Voters Card, PVCs in Benue state.

The two, Terseer Iordye had 37 PVCs while Christopher Iordye was caught with six in Gbajimba, Guma Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking to newsmen after his arrest, Terseer Iordye said he collected the PVCs from INEC on behalf of his people.

Christopher Iordye on his part said the six cards belonged to his relatives who were displaced during the Fulani invasion of Benue state.

According to him, the card owners gave them to him for safe keeping since he was residing in Gbajimba where there was relative peace.

“So, I brought them out so that if they come here, they will collect it and vote, he explained.

During interrogation, both Terseer and Christopher confessed they were members of the APC.

Christopher wore a tag with an inscription “APC Local Government Returning Agent.”
