Voting in the governorship and states house of assembly election in Akwa Ibom state has been peaceful, free and smooth.

In Onna, Etim Ekpo and Ikot Ekpene Local Government Areas, the process was smooth and free.

At Ward 2 unit 1, Uruk Uso, Ikot Ekpene LGA, one of the largest polling units voting was without any incidents.

Voting also went on smoothly at all polling units in the Wards at Etim Ekpo LGA and at Onna, it was the same story.
