The Nigerian Police Force has graduated a total of 268 recruit constables from the Police Training School, Wannune, Benue state.
Speaking at the passing out parade of the recruit constables, June 2018 Intakes, the Inspector General of Police, IGP. Ibrahim K. Idris charged them to be diligent, selfless, patriotic and to constantly refresh their newly acquired knowledge and skills by putting all what they have learnt into practice with the highest level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
The IGP, who was represented by the Benue State Commissioner of Police, CP. Ene Okon also urged the new recruits to be resolute and respect the rule of law.
“They must have resolute and total respect for the rule of law, fundamental human rights, and loyalty to the Nation and the Force,” he said.

Idris encouraged them to toe the line of honour and shun acts capable of tarnishing the image of the Force as there is no place for corrupt, indolent and disgruntled Officers because erring Officers will continue to receive commensurate punishments.
He expressed special appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari, for providing the funds and the enabling platform for the training.
The 268 recruit constables who commenced training on 8th June, 2018 at the Police Training School, passed out on the 22nd December, 2018.
