PHOTOS OF THE DAY: Funeral mass for slain priests, others as Catholics protest

On Tuesday, a funeral mass was conducted for the two Catholic priests, Rev. Fathers Joseph Gor and Felix Tyolaha, who were killed along with 17 other worshippers by suspected herdsmen in Gwer local government area of Benue State during mass.

Held at Ayati Pilgrim Centre, Gwer in Benue State, the occasion was attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Also present were other dignitaries including the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom.

On the same day, Catholics all over Nigeria embarked on a nationwide protest over the April 24 killing of the priests and other worshippers.
