Recall that the Federal Government through the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Silva, announced the reduction of the pump price from N143 or N145 as the case may be, to N125 per litre.
However, the PDP said the price should still be cut lower.
National Publicity Secretary of the opposition party, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement on Sunday contended that with the fall in the price of crude oil in the international market to below $30 per barrel, the appropriate domestic price for petrol should be between N80 and N90 per litre.
