As a result of the exposure, the police got some information that led to their arrest.

According to PRNigeria, the team deployed by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, worked on the information submitted to them and effected the arrest.

One of those arrested is Kunle Ogunleye (a.k.a. Arrow), 35yrs native of Kwara State.

He was arrested on Sunday in Oro town in Kwara State.

The second is Micheal Adikwu, a native of Apa local government area of Benue State.

He was arrested two weeks ago.

Adikwu was said to be a police officer but was dismissed.

He was arrested in 2012 and charged to Court in Kwara State for helping the release of some wanted armed robbers.

He was imprisoned for three years.

After leaving prison in 2015, he became an armed robber.

It would be recalled that the robbers stormed Offa, Kwara State, on April 5, killing many, including policemen as they robbed banks.

The robbers blew up entrances into the banks with dynamite and operated for more than one hour.

Some of the robbers had earlier been arrested and are said to be helping the police.

Only recently the pictures of some of the ones still at large were made public with appeal for information as to their whereabouts.
