The total number Coronavirus infections in Nigeria has risen to 67,220.
This followed the confirmation of 246 more cases on Friday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The daily update from the agency, published on its website said the new cases were reported from nine states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Lagos recorded the highest number of new infections with 81 cases.
Others are; FCT (73), Plateau(39), Kaduna (25), Ogun (13), Bauchi (5), Rivers (4) Ekiti (2), Taraba (2) and Kano (2).
According to the NCDC, two deaths were recorded on Friday bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,171.
On a happy note, however, the health agency reported that 101 persons who made full recovery were discharged on the day in review raising the number of recovered persons to 62,686.
The update added: “Our discharges today include 71 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.”
