Speaking with the Next Edition shortly after casting his vote at Marwa polling unit in Eti -Osa Local Government Area, Mr. Wellington shared his feeling about the process.

He said; “It’s a mixed feelings I think. The positives are you can see Nigerians really want to vote, you can see a lot of people are invested emotionally and they are passionate about it. The negative is that it was very disorderly; you can see there’s still a lot to be done about it.”

Reacting to reports that a polling unit at Ikoyi did not receive ballot papers for the House of Representatives election, he said; “I believe the electorates are doing all that is expected of them. All we want is that they go out, vote and get video evidence of anything that may happen at their units and post them and tag INEC because they have asked us to.

“What will happen now is win or win; if results for that unit are released we can now show the video that is evidence proving what happened at that centre. We will now wait for what INEC and the government will do if that happens.”
