Nigerian celebrities have taken to their social media pages to mark the one year anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.
Wednesday, October 20, 2021, marks exactly one year Nigerian youths rose up to fight against police brutality in the country.
The popular slogan #EndSARS called for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a notorious unit of the Nigerian Police with a long list of gruesome assaults.

While camped at the Lekki Toll Gate, innocent and unarmed protesters were shot at by the Nigerian army.
To mark the day, celebrities have taken to their social media pages to pen different messages and share images from that day.
