The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 390 new cases of Coronavirus infections in the country.
The agency said the cases recorded in the last 24 hours, were reported from 19 states and Abuja.
It also announced one fatality and 173 discharges, among them 74 community recoveries in Gombe State and 6 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
“On the 7th of December 2020, 390 new confirmed cases and 1 death was recorded in Nigeria.

“Till date, 69,645 cases have been confirmed, 64,947 cases have been discharged and 1,181 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The 390 new cases are reported from 20 states- FCT (89), Gombe (89), Kaduna (62), Lagos (35), Kwara (15), Borno (13), Nasarawa (10), Rivers (10), Bauchi (8), Ogun (8), Osun (7), Bayelsa (7), Kano (7), Edo (6), Taraba (6), Ekiti (5), Katsina (5), Akwa Ibom (4), Delta (3) and Sokoto (1),” the update published on the health agency’s website read.
