The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday confirmed 304 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing to 43,841the total number of cases so far recorded in the country.
According to the health agency, the new cases are reported from 14 states and the Federal Capital.
Lagos state, after taking the second place on the table of states reporting new infections, on Sunday returned to the top of the list with 81 new infections, the highest among the 15 states captured.

Meanwhile, the NCDC reported that five deaths occurred on Sunday bringing the number of overall fatalities to 888.
It also said 20,308 cases have been discharged so far in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Other states that reported new infections are: FCT (39), Abia (31), Kaduna (24), Rivers (23), Plateau (16), Cross River (13), Ebonyi (12), Ondo (12) Ekiti (11), Edo (11), Benue (10), Nasarawa (10), Ogun (6), Gombe (5).
