The Vice-Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Dr. Junaid Mohammed has said that the party has an agenda that would transform the country from its present condition if voted into power.

Mohammed, former leader of Kano State delegates in the 2014 National Conference was nominated as the vice-presidential candidate by Donald Duke on Monday.

According to Mohammed, the party would soon unveil its programme to the country.

He said that though it may not be easy for the party because of its size to move across the country in canvassing for votes, the party has a better strategy for doing that.

In his word, “My nomination as the running mate to the presidential candidate of the party has brought more challenges on me especially in a party that is relatively small, however, when the time comes, we have a better approach and strategy on how to go about it.”

He said that the emergence of SDP was for the party to do things differently and transform the country.

“We can talk more when we unfold our programmes and agenda to Nigerians.

“All I can tell you is that we are out to do things differently from the way other parties have been doing things and there are no better results.”

Mohammed who was a member of the National Assembly in the Second Republic has been critical of President Muhammadu Buhari led APC government especially for his inability to handle some of the challenges bedeviling the country.
