Manchester City has equaled the record of Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC by winning 13 straight games in a season in the English Premier League.
Pep Guardiola just keep setting new records with this City team.
He has the highest number of goals at this stage and now Manchester City has set a new club record of winning 13 games consecutively.
Arsenal was the first club to have 13 straight wins.
That was in 2003/2004 season when they were unbeaten throughout.
That earned that team the nickname “Invincible.”
That record remained that way until last season when Antonio Conte’s Chelsea won 13 games straight.
Tottenham Hotspurs ended Chelsea’s winning streak.
Man City may be on their way to surpassing Chelsea and equaling Arsenal’s record of 14 straight wins if they beat Manchester United this weekend.

They have equaled Arsenal’s record for wins in a season but not overall.
Arsenal holds the record of 14 league wins on the bounce, but not in a season.
They had 13 in a season and won the 14th the following season which was 2005/2006 season.
The only time City dropped points this season was away to Everton at Goodson Park.
The game ended 1-1.
Many pundits are of the view that City would have won that game if they had 11 men on the field.
It would be recalled that Manchester United ended Arsenal’s unbeaten run in 2004.
Jose Mourinho’s side would be looking to stop Manchester City from winning 14 games consecutively.
