The head coach of Lobi Stars, Solomon Ogbeide is dead.
He was said to have died in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, on Monday.
According to reports, the veteran coach slumped shortly after complaining of feeling unwell and was confirmed dead on arrival at a nearby hospital where he was rushed to.

Despite the death of their head coach, Lobi Stars hosted Wikki Tourist of Bauchi in their final Group B home match of the season, winning 2-1.
Ogbeide led the Benue side to the group stage of the CAF Champions League this year after winning the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) title last season.
