Senator Ben Murray Bruce has said that he has no candidate among the eight aspirants jostling for the chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Speaking with The Next Edition, at the national convention of the party, the senator said:

“I have no candidate. They are all qualified. All I am after is for this party to get back on its feet. And by God’s grace we shall defeat the APC in the general elections in 2019.
“The overall interest of the party is my concern.”
Meanwhile, The Next Edition gathered that the top contenders are Chief Uche Secondus and Professor Tunde Adeniran.
The pendulum, it has been learnt, may swing either way.
