The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Benue State has tasked its members to work very hard in order to being victory for the party during Saturday’s Local Government election in the state.
The party Chairman, Mr. John Ngbede stated this while briefing newsmen after the expanded caucus meeting of the party in Makurdi.
The Chairman said the party had prepared fully in order to clinch all the positions during the polls.
“We are ready to go into the election and hoping to win. BSIEC has fixed May 30, 2020 for the local government elections so we called our members together for last minute briefing and preparation for the polls”.
Ngbede called on the party faithful to comply with all COVID-19 safety measures as they go out of their houses to vote for candidates of their choice.

The party chairman further stressed the need for the PDP members to mobilize other voters and ensure that they come out to exercise their franchise.
“We are fully ready with the hope to win overwhelmingly. We advise the electorate to comply with all the Covid-19 preventive measures.
“Avoid overcrowding. The Benue Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC) has directed that only 30 electorates should be at a polling unit at a time.
“You should ensure that you abide with all the commission’s directives.
“We advise our candidates to go and mobilize for support to ensure that we win with landslide victory,” he said.
