Hundreds of residents in Lagos, on Thursday, broke into a warehouse located at Monkey Village, Maza maza, in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos, carting away food items.
The food items, which were labelled ‘CACOVID, NOT FOR SALE,’ included bags of rice, macaroni, spaghetti, salt, garri, sugar and cartons of noodles, among others.

The Next Edition recalls that CACOVID (Coalition Against COVID-19), a private sector initiative was launched in March this year, to assist the government in combating the coronavirus disease.
