The governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has promised to collaborate with churches in the provision of infrastructures to communities in the State.
Ambode made the disclosure at Deeper Life Church headquarters in Lagos during an interdenominational church service to mark Nigeria’s 58th Independent anniversary on Sunday.
The governor, who commended the church for the construction of a bridge and car park to ease traffic among the residence of Gbagada, disclosed that the gesture of the church propelled the government to construct six road projects in the community.

He declared, “I must commend Deeper Life Bible Church for their effort in constructing the car park and the bridge to ease traffic in the community, it is in furtherance of their contribution to cooperate social responsibility that the state government has decided to construct six road projects in the community which would be completed by first quarter of 2019.”
The governor who also commended the Vice-President for attending the occasion despite his busy schedules in Abuja, urged Christians to continue in their prayers which has resulted in the security of the state.
“I encourage Christian leaders in the country to continue in their prayer for the state which has made us to enjoy peace in the state.”
